What To Do When The Wire Is Long And Short

If the strip length is short, or the cable is not fully plugged into the conductor's crimping area, the crimping may not be able to reach the required pull force, because the metal contact between the cable and the terminal is reduced. 


As shown in (Fig. vi), the wire strip is long and short (note that the insulating layer is in the correct position) and the distance from the front of the conductor's crimping area is not able to obtain a required cable diameter. The solution is simple: increase the stripping length of the stripping device to the specified value of the terminal.
